Though, I really hope you aren&#8217;t looking forward to a PowerPoint presentation&#8230; I just don&#8217;t roll like that. <\/p>\n<p>Instead, during the session we&#8217;ll be working in a text editor, walking through the process of creating a simple WordPress plugin. We&#8217;ll start with a quick intro to some tools you can use to create your plugin, but then we&#8217;ll jump right in with how to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>modify content<\/li>\n<li>add an admin options page<\/li>\n<li>add a sidebar widget <\/li>\n<li>add a shortcode <\/li>\n<li>add a dashboard widget <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You&#8217;ll be surprised at just how easy is! <\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t be shy.
