Tickets for WordCamp OC sold out in just a few hours this year. We want to let in everyone who wants to come, but our venue has capacity limits, and we prefer happy fire marshals. If you didn’t get tickets, here are a couple ways that you might still be able to attend:

~~1. We may have some more tickets to release before the start of WordCamp OC (no promises.) If that happens, we will make an announcement on Facebook and Twitter.~~ (Tickets are completely sold out.)

2. Some people who bought tickets might have their plans change. We’ll retweet these when we see them. People might also post about tickets in the OC WordPress Facebook group, and in the official Facebook event. These are first come, first served since you’ll be dealing directly with the person selling their ticket.

3. We are trying something new this year. If an attendee can’t make our Sunday lineup, we’ll ask them to donate their badge after camp Saturday so that someone can attend in their place. We’ve started a waiting list, and will invite 1 person on the list to attend Sunday for each donated badge.

I am a professional web developer, SEO/SEM specialist, eCommerce consultant and web entrepreneur, with over 22 years experience in web development. When I did my first web page there was only 250 sites in the world. I was luck to be an intern at the computer lab while I was acquiring a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering. At that time the Internet came to Brazil first at the Universities. I was able to start to learn a lot related to internet, web development and user experience. After I graduated, I started working as Civil Engineer and on my spare time was doing simple websites for companies in Fortaleza, Brazil. Two years later, I relocated to the United States and accepted an offer to work for a dotcom under an H1B visa. The year was 1999 and then I lived in South Florida for 8 years. I’ve lived in New York and Washington, D.C, while working as senior web developer consultant for Inter-american Development Bank. In 2015 I relocated to Las Vegas, became an American Citizen, and currently I am expanding my online businesses to the US West region.
