We all had a fantastic time celebrating the developers and learning a bit about their development process. Kudos to Alex Vasquez for hosting a great event. Our judges did a great job evaluating the plugins and asking tough questions. Thanks to Jason Cosper, Chris Ford and Scott Bolinger.

Thank you again to our generous sponsor, Sucuri. This event would not have been possible without your support. The prizes grew bigger this year. We gave away $5,000 cash and 2 Sucuri Business (VIP) licenses.

The prizes went to:

First Place
Plugin Detective
$3,000 cash and 1 Sucuri Business (VIP) license

Second Place
WP Revenue Booster
$1,500 cash and 1 Sucuri Business (VIP) license

Third Place
Ensemble
$500 cash

Thank you to all of the entrants, our host and our judges!

Web Badges

If you’re attending, speaking, sponsoring or volunteering for WordCamp Orange County 2018, feel free to use one of our badges on your web site and/or social media to show your camp pride.

Call for Volunteers

The epic quest that is a WordCamp doesn’t happen without the help of brave souls committed to the tasks, nay labors required.

We’re looking for volunteers!!!

We need a few good people. And we’d especially love it if you journeyed with us! In exchange you’ll get a free ticket to the event, an invitation to the speaker/sponsor dinner, our gratitude, the adoration of attendees. You might also achieve glory in battle and a dragon’s hoard in gold (though those last two are pretty doubtful).

We need folks we can count on for both days of our weekend: June 9th & 10th. If you are interested, fill out the form below. We’re looking for several community henchmen to join forces with us. Do you have the fortitude to apply?

Call For Sponsors

WordCamps wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations from our sponsors. We appreciate every single sponsor who has helped our Camp in years past.

WordCamps are casual, volunteer-run events. Sponsor support for WordCamp enables attendees to experience the event for a low cost! A low cost ensures accessibility to individuals, small businesses, and nearly anyone who wants to attend.

Being a sponsor gives you a unique opportunity to invest in the OC WordPress community.

The 500 attendees are made up of web-savvy professionals who work in media, publishing, software, art, technology, education, healthcare, financial services, government… you name it. Letting members of our community know you support them will earn you their goodwill.

We’ve created sponsorship levels to fit every budget from the big business to small local agency to independent freelancers building with WordPress for a living.
